Scarlett's dress arrives!!!

Very exciting to now have both the bridesmaids dresses in our possession! Just waiting on Rachel's wrap now! This dress is so pretty and Scarlett is very excited to be trying it on! Matt will be visiting this week from Coventry and we plan to have them both trying on their wedding clothes together at the same time as Grandad!!

Confetti find!

Found these beautiful rose topiary style bushes in the newest Confetti guide that just came through the door! Amazingly Confetti are now stocking white birdcages not unlike mine.. and are even decorating them in a similar style!!! And they were on the same page as these little trees! 

I've bought three for use in the wedding room, maybe on the mantelpiece of the lovely fireplace behind the top table, or maybe on the cake table or any number of places!

My beautiful boy's birthday!

Greg is 37 today! It's so nice to be able to do lovely things for your partner, particularly when they arent normally used to celebrating their birthday! 

He's been at work all morning and should be home shortly where he will find balloons on the door and in the house... and a birthday cake and candles and pressies! 

He even had the kids at work singing Happy Birthday to him! 

We're off for dinner later too...

Snowy Sunbury!

The snow over the last few days has given me a slight breather in the wedding preparations! 

Most places have been shut or short staffed so it wasn't really worth making many calls! 

Started saturday night making butterflies for the Order of Services and finished  putting the whole 100 of them together last night! Phew! It was a long slog but feels so good to have them done, albeit without the inserts! Next stop email the vicar with our choices of reading so that I can finish them all off!!!!! 

Luckily also Sunday morning the best man, Roger came over and we were able to get his waistcoat fitted!! This means the men folk with the exception of Matt the page boy are all suited and booted now!!!! Yippee!!!
